THE CBCRA SERVICES

The Camps Bay and Clifton Ratepayer's Association (CBCRA) is dedicated to maintaining the unique character of these iconic suburbs.

To SERVE the community in all civic matters, the Association acts as a bridge between residents and municipal authorities, addressing concerns such as infrastructure, safety, and service delivery to ensure the community’s needs are met.

To CONSERVE the beauty of the natural environment, the CBCRA prioritizes the protection of the area’s beaches, mountain slopes, and biodiversity. Through advocacy for sustainable tourism and responsible development, the association ensures that the natural assets remain preserved for future generations. Additionally, the Association is at the vanguard of the movement to prevent the unrestricted use of marine outfall plants which are poisoning our oceans and marine life.

To PRESERVE the built fabric of the suburb, the CBCRA supports responsible developmental and architectural practices that respect the area’s historic and aesthetic character. By protecting the integrity of the built environment, the Association safeguards property values while preserving Camps Bay and Clifton’s appeal as prestigious residential and tourist destinations. These principles guide its work to balance community, environment, and development effectively.
