About the Camps Bay & Clifton Ratepayers Association
The Camps Bay & Clifton Ratepayers Association (CBCRA) is an independent, non-aligned civic organisation representing the interests of residents and property owners in Camps Bay and Clifton. We work to protect and enhance the character, environment and quality of life of our neighbourhoods by engaging with residents, the City of Cape Town and other stakeholders on matters that affect our community. From planning and development to heritage, infrastructure, municipal services and the natural environment, the CBCRA provides an informed and independent voice for the community.
Our Mission
The CBCRA works to serve, conserve and preserve Camps Bay and Clifton by protecting the interests of residents and property owners and safeguarding the qualities that make our neighbourhoods unique.
We engage with the City of Cape Town and other stakeholders on planning and development, municipal services, infrastructure, property matters, heritage and environmental issues. We scrutinise developments that may affect the character of our suburbs and advocate for responsible, sustainable growth.
As an independent, non-aligned civic organisation, we aim to keep residents informed, encourage community participation and provide a strong collective voice on matters affecting Camps Bay and Clifton.
